New Versace Style

Donatela Versace has recently launched a new line of modern furniture! You would probably expect a typical golden Medusa head baroque style, but she went for a serious black and white classicism.
For a unifying decorative element was used The Greek key - a signature Versace pattern, that you can find on lamps, vases and pillows. "Furniture is like a fashion," she sais."A designer has to offer up-to-date, unique pieces without casrificing the label's identity."
A jet-black lamp of handblown glass offers a glimmering riff on Carlo Moretti's work in the 1970s, while a white ceramic version hars back to Versace's other favourite glamoure decade, the '40s. You can also find a sexier version of le Corbusier's cowhide classic leather chaise, suspended from a steel frame.
So Home Cotoure reflects a refreshing new phase for designer: no labels and Whistles, just pure sumptuousness.
